Here’s a CD that has enriched my walk with the Lord and encouraged me in the gospel. The texts come from a variety of sources, some old, some new. You’ll recognize a few of them, but the tunes likely will all be new to you as it was to me.
The style crosses multiple genres, from folk to easy listening to jazz to rock, keeping it fresh and engaging for the listener. The producers explain their purpose in this:
While all of these songs are intended for congregational singing, they have been cast into many different styles of music. This reflects our conviction that worship music should be as stylistically diverse as the cultures of humanity.
You can stream the CD here before deciding to purchase it ($10 download | $13 physical copy). Take it for a spin. I think you’ll find it a helpful addition to your music library.
(OK, so there’s one song that I deselected because it was just weird. I’ll let you figure out which one that is.)
