One Response to Sermon Notes: January 29, 2012

  1. Eric says:

I love this passage – here is Jesus praying for us! “…those who will believe in me through their word…” With regard to the unity of one Spirit that exists in the church, I’m reminded of C.S. Lewis’ Screwtape Letters, where senior demon Screwtape refers to “the Church as we see her spread out through all time and space and rooted in eternity, terrible as an army with banners… a spectacle which makes our boldest tempters uneasy.” I also enjoyed hearing you use the word “ontological” in a sermon! Looking forward to Part 2 of this.
