Practicing Affirmation by Sam Crabtree on sale

Can I recommend a book that I haven’t read?

Well, I’m about to do so, for two reasons: it’s on sale, and a good friend said that it was “a book that [he] desperately needed” and “already need[s] to read . . . again.”

The book is Practicing Affirmation by Sam Crabtree. “Who needs a book about affirming others?” asks pastor and author C. J. Mahaney. “For starters, I do—and I suspect you do too. Too many of us use most of our words each day for criticizing and complaining.” He continues:

My friend Sam Crabtree, on the other hand, is a practitioner of affirmation. To meet him is to be encouraged. His words, both in person and in these pages, are thoughtful, intentional, and full of gratefulness. If you find that your communication lacks encouragement, if you want to grow in affirming others, if you plan to say any words at all today—please read this book!

Sounds like a book that would benefit many of us. Amazon is selling the Kindle version for $4.61. And remember, you don’t have to own a Kindle to benefit from deals like this.
