Summer Reading List

If you know my wife and me, you know that we are fans of classical education. Not the we-are-bound-by-Scripture-to-follow-this-method-or-else classical education. And certainly not the God-is-going-to-save-western-civilization-through-our-kids-because-they’re-classically-educated classical education. But classical education nonetheless.

Justin Taylor posted a helpful resource from Calvary Classical School in Hampton, VA. In a thirteen-page pdf you’ll find the complete in-class and outside reading list for students. This is a great tool for parents who are looking for good literature for their children this summer.

And of course, they don’t have to be classically educated to benefit.
