A quick highlight of what’s out there today:
- Ligonier is offering R. C. Sproul’s fourteen Crucial Questions booklets for free. They cover questions like the nature of faith, the trustworthiness of the Bible, and assurance of salvation. While you’re on Ligonier’s website, leave them a donation as a way of saying thanks.
- Crossway has marked down ecopies of Jerram Barrs’ Echoes of Eden to $2. Looking forward to reading this book about Christian engagement with the arts.
- God has used Bryan Chapell to say the right things at the right time in my life. This happened first when I read his Christ-Centered Preaching, which transformed my view of Scripture itself (much less sermon preparation). Then it was Holiness by Grace, which guarded me from a huge pendulum swing away from the legalism of my past. You can now download the Kindle version of his Praying Backwards for just $1.99. I haven’t read it yet, but I won’t be surprised if it’s the right book at the right time for me. Again.
