The King and the Temple

One beautiful thread woven through the biblical narrative is the story of God’s presence among sinful people. From the garden of Eden to Solomon’s glorious temple, the Lord mysteriously offers the promise of His presence while restricting access to His glory. How can He be both wholly other and wholly gracious? Isaiah 2 resolves the tension in a way that leaves us standing in wonder. A true and greater Temple would come.

Indeed He has.
