The King and the Child

The shooting of two police officers in Brooklyn yesterday offers a grim reminder of the darkness and distress of our world, precisely at the time we celebrate life and joy and peace. Is our celebration naive? Is there no answer to the darkness? This passage offers compelling reason to find hope in the face of a Child.
