Today’s passage is long and challenging, but it provides a window into the human heart as it relates to our past accomplishments and our expectations for the future. As you listen to this week’s message, consider four ways that we tend to think about the past and the future, and ask yourself which one most frequently marks you—and which if any are the marks of a follower of Jesus.
