Here’s a look ahead to what God has prepared for us this weekend:
If You Could Ask God One Question
Tonight is the next discussion for all who are interested in the topic, “Why would a loving God send people to hell?” We’ll meet in Gano Chapel at 7pm. Invite your non-Christian friend to take part in the conversation.
Just a reminder to set your clocks ahead before you go to bed Saturday night. Sunday morning will come a bit earlier than usual!
The ladies Bible study will start a series on James led by Elsie Cadet-Grieg, while the men continue their look at Mark’s gospel. Children’s classes are available. Join us Sunday at 9.30am.
Sunday Worship Service
Here’s a look ahead at the songs we plan to sing Sunday morning.
- “How Great Thou Art“
- “Creation Sings“
- “He Will Hold Me Fast“
- “Spirit of God, Descend Upon My Heart“
- “My Jesus, I Love Thee“
The sermon text will be Isaiah 21.
Spring Benefit Concert
Next Saturday, March 14 at 7pm, we will host a concert to benefit the boiler project. Dr. Linda Marcel, a colleague of Gordon Scott, has assembled a talented array of musicians to perform classical and modern-classical selections for the enjoyment of our people and neighborhood.
This year’s Easter Offering will benefit the boiler fund. We’re about $50,000 away from being able to sign a contract and stop paying the $2,600 each week for the temporary boiler. So let us pray fervently and give generously to meet this goal.
Baptism and New Members Class
Want to know more about baptism? Considering becoming a member of our church? Classes for both baptism and membership will be offered soon. Please contact Matthew or Gordon if interested.
Looking forward to seeing you Sunday!
